Dr.Surabhi Sangwai is the First Lady Pediatrician to have sought the Prestigious International credential of IBCLC (USA) in the city of Nagpur, Central India.

She is the pioneer in starting up a dedicated state of Art Lactation Counseling Center in the city.

She has a keen interest in working with Maternal and Child Health especially in their First 1000 days where Breastfeeding holds an utmost important place.

She therefore holds a vision to become a Breastfeeding Advocate and supports the mother baby dyads thoroughly and skillfully to cope up the challenges with feeding in early weeks postpartum.

She is also the first person to have got a certification in diagnosing Functional Tongue Ties and their Management in Nagpur.

Dr.Surabhi is working sincerely towards improving the rates of exclusive breastfeeding in the community.
